Morgan Wallen Reschedules Six Weeks of Upcoming Shows
(NASHVILLE, TN) -In an Instagram post yesterday, Morgan Wallen announced that he is rescheduling the next six weeks of shows. Following a 10 day vocal rest, Wallen performed three shows in Florida, where he says he re-injured his vocal cords.
After consulting with doctors at Vanderbilt Voice Center in Nashville, Wallen received the diagnosis of vocal cord trauma. A full recovery is expected, if he follows a six week vocal rest protocol. His doctors have encouraged him to not speak, but can only when necessary.
In the Instagram post, Wallen also discloses that he torn his “lat” in Australia and has, “Quietly been trying to work through that.” The time off will be needed to recover from his injuries.
