Gretchen Wilson – “Here For The Party” Featuring Ella Langley

Nashville, TN – Gretchen Wilson is revisiting the song that helped define her career with a new version of “Here For The Party,” featuring Ella Langley. The re-recorded single arrives June 26 on Redneck Records through a new partnership with Thirty Tigers and serves as the first release from Wilson’s reimagined Here For The Party album.

The updated recording follows a live performance by Wilson and Langley on the Nissan Stadium stage during CMA Fest earlier this month. The pair also performed the song together at Langley’s sold-out Ryman Auditorium concert last November.

“When I started thinking about who to ask to sing on this track, Ella was my first and only choice,” Wilson said. “I’ve been following her almost from day one, and her story, her music, and her sass remind me so much of myself when my own career took off. And we had a blast performing it together at CMA Fest!”

Wilson co-wrote “Here For The Party” with fellow Muzik Mafia members John Rich and Big Kenny. Originally released as a single on July 1, 2004, the song became Wilson’s second No. 1 hit following “Redneck Woman,” and she has included it in virtually every concert over the past 22 years.

“Gretchen is a hero of mine, and I have played ‘Here for the Party’ in every show my whole life,” Langley said. “Performing the song live with her has been wild to experience, and it’s an honor to be a part of this album.”

Wilson has spent much of 2026 re-recording her breakthrough Here For The Party album, with a different special guest artist featured on each track. Additional singles will be released over the coming months, with the full duets album scheduled for release in early 2027.

Originally released on May 11, 2004, Here For The Party debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard 200. The multi-platinum project set the record for the highest first-week sales by a debut country album at the time and also produced the top five singles “When I Think About Cheatin'” and “Homewrecker.”
