Jelly Roll – “Hands Up”

Nashville, TN – Jelly Roll’s latest single, “Hands Up,” is off to a strong start at country radio after earning 163 first-week adds, making it the most-added song on this week’s format.
The first-week total marks the biggest country radio launch of Jelly Roll’s career and the largest impact date for BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville.
Released through Stoney Creek Records, “Hands Up” was written by Jelly Roll, Michael Hardy, Chase McGill, Joe Fox and Rocky Block. Charlie Handsome and Ben Johnson produced the track.

While radio programmers were adding the song this week, fans have already heard it on the road. Jelly Roll has been performing “Hands Up” during his Arena Little Ass Shed Tour and on select dates of Post Malone’s BIG ASS STADIUM TOUR. He also included the song in a surprise appearance during CMA Fest at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. That performance is available to stream as part of CMA Fest Presented by Sofi on Hulu.
The single continues a stretch of sustained success for the Nashville native, who has now notched nine consecutive No. 1 singles at country radio. His latest album, Beautifully Broken, topped both the Billboard 200 and Billboard’s Country Albums chart, while producing the No. 1 hits “I Am Not Okay,” “Liar” and “Heart of Stone.”
Away from music, Jelly Roll remains active in prison and rehabilitation outreach, including donating a recording studio to the juvenile detention center where he was once incarcerated.
