Nashville, TN – Norwegian country artist Erlend Gunstveit has joined forces with country music icon Pam Tillis for a fresh rendition of Ronnie Milsap’s timeless hit, “No Getting Over Me.”

The collaboration pairs one of Norway’s brightest country stars with one of Nashville’s most celebrated voices, breathing new life into the beloved classic while honoring the song that became a No. 1 hit for Ronnie Milsap.

For Erlend, the release is another milestone in his rapidly growing international career. The Norwegian singer-songwriter first captured national attention after winning The Voice Norway in 2021, becoming the competition’s first country music champion. Since then, he has become one of Scandinavia’s leading ambassadors for traditional country music, releasing multiple albums, touring internationally, and earning a Norwegian Grammy (Spellemann Award) nomination.

His deep appreciation for classic country artists such as Keith Whitley, George Jones and Randy Travis shines throughout his music, making Pam Tillis a fitting collaborator for this reimagined classic.

The daughter of Country Music Hall of Famer Mel Tillis, Pam Tillis has enjoyed a career spanning more than three decades, earning Grammy, CMA and ACM honors while delivering hits including “Maybe It Was Memphis,” “Shake the Sugar Tree” and “Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life).” Her unmistakable voice blends seamlessly with Erlend’s rich traditional-country style, creating a duet that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new.

Rather than simply recreating a country classic, Erlend and Tillis offer a heartfelt tribute that bridges generations and continents, proving that great country songs continue to resonate no matter where they’re sung.

“No Getting Over Me” is available now on major streaming platforms.
