Carly Pearce has announced that her fifth studio album, Honest Woman, will be released August 28 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville.

Alongside the announcement, Pearce released the new song “She Don’t,” which is now available on all platforms. The track arrives as the latest preview of the upcoming project and showcases the storytelling and traditional country influences highlighted throughout the album.

Co-produced by Pearce and longtime collaborator Ben West, Honest Woman features narrative-driven songwriting and what the release describes as a sonic return to form. The 16-track collection includes collaborations with Riley Green, Dan Tyminski and Molly Tuttle while drawing from Pearce’s bluegrass roots and a focus on country craftsmanship.

“When I started making Honest Woman, I found myself rediscovering who I am and why I wanted to be a country music singer in the first place,” said Pearce. “This album takes me back to the beginning of my story, where the sounds of classic country and bluegrass music shaped who I am. I’m so proud of this body of work, and I truly feel like it’s my best yet.”

The album will include previously released songs “Dream Come True,” “Church Girl” and “You Can Have Him,” along with Pearce’s current single with Riley Green, “If I Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay.”
