LOCASH Launch Music City Power Company With Strategic Leadership Team

New venture expands Galaxy Label Group footprint with artist development and marketing services
PLATINUM-selling duo LOCASH have officially launched Music City Power Company, a new artist development and music marketing hub created in partnership with manager Skip Bishop and Canadian country artist-turned-entrepreneur Shane Harluk. The Nashville-headquartered company is designed to deliver a full spectrum of services including A&R, creative direction, distribution, marketing, and radio strategy.
Built as a collaborative collective of artists, songwriters, and industry executives, Music City Power Company will focus on developing customized campaigns tailored to individual artists, with an emphasis on amplifying creative vision in a competitive marketplace. The company operates with a dual-market presence, as Harluk oversees Canadian operations from Calgary, extending its reach internationally from launch.
The venture expands on the foundation of Galaxy Label Group, the independent label LOCASH—Preston Brust and Chris Lucas—founded in 2024. Bishop, who has managed the duo since 2023, and Harluk bring longstanding relationships and shared strategic alignment to the new company. Together, the leadership team aims to operate with a streamlined and vertically integrated approach to artist development and promotion.
“As Galaxy, we are deeply familiar with the tools, team, energy and leadership needed to break through and win,” said Bishop. “The Music City Power Company has assembled the best of the best and will offer a level of modern, focused expertise and passion that independent artists need right now.”
In a key executive move, Mara Sidweber has been appointed to the dual role of VP Promotion and Strategy for Music City Power Company and National Promotion for Galaxy Label Group. Reporting directly to Bishop, Sidweber will lead radio promotion efforts across both entities.
Sidweber brings extensive industry experience, having spent 12 years at Capitol Records Nashville and four years leading marketing and radio promotion at Southern Ground Artists. Her career includes overseeing campaigns for Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Little Big Town, Lady A, Darius Rucker, and Jon Pardi, contributing to a total of 61 No. 1 records.
“I’m so excited to work with the best team in the business to deliver a results driven experience for our artists,” added Harluk.
The launch follows a period of momentum for Galaxy Label Group. LOCASH’s 2025 album *Bet The Farm* produced a multi-week No. 1 hit with “Hometown Home,” marking the label’s first chart-topping release. The single “Wrong Hearts” also reached the Top 40, further establishing the label’s early success.
Music City Power Company positions itself as a multi-genre operation, working across Country, Pop, Rock, and Folk. With offices in Nashville and Calgary, the company aims to deliver strategic, tailored campaigns while supporting the long-term growth of its artist roster.
