Sons of Habit step into a new chapter with the release of their latest single, “Annabelle,” arriving alongside news of their signing to Lucille Records under MCA. The track introduces a band leaning fully into the elements that define their identity—tight vocal interplay, grounded musicianship, and songwriting rooted in lived experience.

“Annabelle” centers on the tension between memory and longing, unfolding through vivid storytelling and a layered sonic approach. Driving guitars meet atmospheric production, creating a sound that balances grit and depth while pulling from both modern rock and Americana influences. It’s a combination that reflects the group’s organic beginnings and the chemistry built over years of playing together.

Formed in Habit, Kentucky, and made up of Mitchell Douglas, Hagan Edge, Dalton Daniels, Jeffrey Parish, and Noah Patrick, the band’s history runs deep. Their shared background in Owensboro and paths outside of music shaped a perspective that continues to inform their work. That foundation comes through clearly here, as “Annabelle” captures both emotional weight and musical cohesion.

With this release and new label partnership, Sons of Habit continue building momentum as they expand their reach and evolve their sound.
