Brantley Gilbert steps back into the spotlight with “GOOD DAMN,” marking his first release since signing with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville on Wheelhouse Records. Released March 27, 2026, the single reintroduces a sound that traces directly to the edge and attitude that first defined his career.

Written by Gilbert alongside Brock Berryhill, HARDY, and Taylor Phillips—and produced by Gilbert with Berryhill—the track leans into a stripped-back, throwback energy. It taps into the tension of unfinished business, built around a real-life moment that shaped Gilbert’s own story: crossing paths with someone from the past and confronting the spark that never quite faded.

The song’s narrative centers on second chances, capturing a split-second decision to be honest rather than hesitant. That emotional immediacy drives the track forward, pairing Gilbert’s signature grit with a storyline rooted in personal reflection and what-ifs.

“GOOD DAMN” also offers an early preview of Gilbert’s upcoming eighth studio album, signaling a continuation of the balance he’s long maintained—evolving sonically while staying grounded in raw, lived-in storytelling. It’s a return that doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but instead reinforces the core elements that built his audience in the first place.
