Flatland Cavalry announce their Work of Heart Tour in support of their fifth studio album.

Flatland Cavalry has officially launched their headlining Work of Heart Tour, arriving alongside the release of their fifth studio album, Work of Heart, available now. The Texas-bred group is currently on the road following a kickoff run across the South, with additional dates scheduled through the summer.

The tour supports the new album, produced by Dwight A. Baker, and recorded at Matchbox Studios in Austin, Texas. The 12-track project captures themes of life, love, and loss, with frontman Cleto Cordero continuing his established songwriting approach rooted in emotional clarity and lived experience.

“This album is a collection of songs of life, love, and loss [that were] collected over a season of living, learning, and growing,” says Cordero. “My approach has been the same the whole time in the sense of showing up to write a song with all my heart, my mind, and soul.”

Flatland Cavalry previewed the record with multiple releases including “Gone,” “Never Comin’ Back,” “On and On,” and “Real Slow.” The latest focus track, “Unglued,” arrives with a lyric video and marks one of the band’s more sonically expansive efforts.

The band is also set to mark the album release with a headlining appearance at Troubadour Festival in Bryan, Texas. Beyond their headline run, Flatland Cavalry will join select dates supporting Morgan Wallen, Dwight Yoakam, and Cross Canadian Ragweed, in addition to appearances at major festivals including Tortuga Music Festival, Buckeye Country Superfest, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and more.

Tickets for the Work of Heart Tour are available now.
